I’ve been a Verizon customer for 7 years plus and my bill was extremely high and the bill just kept rising. So me and my family decided to leave Verizon for another company which only lasted a few days due to location. I’ve been back with Verizon for a month and two and now I just received this huge bill for device payments. I do understand that I need to pay them off but why couldn’t the device payments be added back to the account like the phones were. Or why can’t I make arrangements to pay the devices off in a few payments. No Verizon wants me to pay my monthly bill and also pay off this huge device payment bill or they will send it to collections. This company doesn’t help their long term customers at all. So again I’ll be looking for another provider

Did you check your current account number to see if it's exactly the same as your account number before you ported out? Because I'm worried that what happened was, someone at Verizon did not process you correctly as a "winback" customer when you returned. If your old account was reinstated correctly, the device agreements should have come back the way they were.
I wouldn't pay off your devices just yet, because I read of a very sad story not that long ago where someone else wasn't processed as a "winback" when they returned after a brief period, and then they paid off all their devices, and couldn't get anything put back. Someone at Verizon needs to locate your device agreements and get your old account set back up if they didn't do it before. Good luck.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
