I had an account from 2019 that had entered collections, not realizing it was added to collections it had already been to late. SO the following year i had wrote a pay off onto my taxes for the amount they were looking for. They accepted it from ym taxes but are still claiming that my account is in collections, i have the proof i need to dispute it but they keep fighting it. Im not sure what else i am suppose to do, but it has been going on since 2019... its going on 2023.
