Hello Community, 

 

Just wanted to see if anyone here has ever had an issue with having an account opened up with Verizon fraudulently in your name?  How did your case get handled and what was the overall outcome?  I have this issue as of current and so far find it very frustrating and feel more like the criminal than the victim.

Please tell us, have you filed a fraud claim online yet? https://www.verizon.com/about/account-security/file-a-fraud-claim This will be the most important step in getting this matter resolved in a timely manner. Please note that this will require a police report as identity theft is a crime. The portal will highlight the requirements for the fraud form submission. Once this form is submitted, a member from our Fraud Prevention Team will reach out for further assistance.
