Missing Payment

I had two promise to pays. I paid them both over two weeks ago. I got a text from verizon today saying I needed to pay or service would be interrupted by midnight. I sign in to check my balance and my two payments have not been applied?? I tried reaching out to customer service and the representative just kept telling me the payments weren't on my account. Yeah I know?!! There's no where to send my screenshots where I'm literally looking at the settled amount for these two transactions. They said there is "nothing to investigate because the money isn't on the account". So basically they expect me to just shell out double. But who's to say they won't "lose" that too.  So my service will just be turned off because my money is off in lala land. 

What am I supposed to do???
