Promotion never processed. Found out I paid $800 two years later.

I have had the worst experience of my life trying to buy this phone from Verizon.
In December of 2021, I ordered a phone through the chat service because I had a promotion for $800 off my unlimited line. I was moving to a new state in January and was worried the phone wouldn't get delivered in time, but I was assured that it would. They ended up sending it to the wrong address that first time. We reordered the phone and again they said it would be delivered before I moved. That never happened. I figured it would come in eventually and my mom could just send it to me when it did, so I moved. The phone never arrived at my mom's house. When I called to figure it out they disconnected the service on my current phone and left me stranded in a new city with no directions to get me back home. Managed to fix that. I decided to go into a store to figure things out. We had to re order the phone again and there was an issue with getting the $800 promotion to apply since that promotion was no longer running. That took a ton of time to make sure that it did end up applying. They had to pull a bunch of strings to make it happen. I came back in a week when my phone was delivered and spent hours setting up the new phone. 3 months had passed since my original order, but fine I had my phone and we worked it out.
2 years have passed and I just found out from my mom that they've been charging her the $800 for the phone that I bought. No records of the ordeal are available on my account. I am so sick of Verizon! They hide information and make it impossible to talk to someone that can help. And I'm sure that I'll have to sell them one of my kidneys to get this situation settled. AGAIN. I thought this headache was over 2 years ago!

Hello, Yellowlegs. So sorry to hear of this experience as it definitely is not the experience we'd ever want for any of our customers. Help is here. Please tell us more. I see you stated this is on your mother's account. Are you listed as an authorized manager? The reason I ask is that, for us to help, your name would need to be listed to access and review the account. Please let us know.
