Sent to Collections for a Fraudulent Account Opened by Verizon

I signed up for 2 free iPhone 14 Plus phones in April of 2023. Customer Service at Verizon has been beyond terrible. They somehow opened a second, fraudulent account in my name and charged me $999 under it for what was supposed to be a free phone. I have now spent going on 50 hours with customer service, including going into the local store 3 separate times for hours at a time. I have been berated by phone, including one telling me I was "stupid" to be concerned about this other account in my name. I have escalated  it within Verizon months ago to their fraud department, and had to file a police report to submit to Verizon for their own internal error. They have since finally closed the separate fraudulent account, but did it in such a way that it hit my Credit Report and dropped my Credit Score by fifty points. Now I'm having to dispute their error with all 3 credit bureaus.
