I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer for over 7 years. Never missed a payment to where my services was disconnected, never had any major issues. Recently I fell on a hardship & set up a payment arrangement. The first payment arrangement went through with no issue, the second for $92.63 did not so I set up another one 3 days away on my pay day.
They then disconnected my service for 1 missed payment of $92.63, I explained to them the payment would be made in 3 days but it’s imperative that I have my service because I need my phone for work. They don’t budge. They tell me to pay any amount towards the arrangement they assure me my service will be temporarily restored until I pay the arrangement on the arrangement date.
I paid them my last $7 that I had for the rest of the week & they accepted it & told me my services would be back on, they DID NOT honor their word. Instead they told me it wasn’t enough, & that my services would still remain disconnected.
I get wrote up at work for not having my phone.
Day 2 I contact them again letting them know of the miscommunication I received & they acknowledged wrong doing on their end & accepted full responsibility but still refused to turn on my service so I would not get in any more trouble at work.
The balance is now $85.
I beg them to turn the services on temporarily so I can prevent from getting into further trouble at work. They tell me to pay more money before my arrangement date…
I was written up again at work & suspended without out pay..
They keep telling me to contact the financial team but that’s impossible IF MY SERVICE IS OFF!!!!!!!
This is again all over $85 balance. My card is on file for it to be automatically taken out on my payday. I have never had any other issues. I don’t know what other or more proof this company needed but they just cost me my employment over $92.63.
I will be switching providers asap!
I hope they are happy & enjoy my mere penny to their billions.
