After being a loyal client of Verizon for years, my line was recently shut off for non-payment. I want to make perfectly clear however that the service for my line was shut-off not because I was late on my payment because I have made all my payments. My line was shut off for the non-payment of $1600 that was once again added to my account for the fifth time and that I was expected to pay within 24 hours.  One of the many representatives that I spoke to from Verizon informed me over the phone that the responsibility and debt from those two lines were going to be removed from my account within 24 to 48 hours because of the domestic violence situation that I was going through and also because those two lines were in the final stages of being ported out.  

Verizon is this the way that you treat your loyal customers that are survivors of domestic violence?

Verizon is this how you treat your loyal customers that are being forced and going through economic abuse and interpersonal violence?

Verizon you asked that I make a police report, and even though I did not want to for safety reasons, I did.....and you know what was the end result? 

Verizon playing phone tag with my calls after waiting for hours at times before leaving me waiting and never picking back up, or hanging up, or tranferring me to the wrong department. I was also made to feel as if though I could be the one that was actually committing the identity theft and not the account owner that verified by answering all the security questions and also giving you the text coe that was sent to my phone.......and then was told that they were told that those two lines belonged to my partner because he used them before telling me that they did not want to get involved. I think that line was crossed by Verizon long before that when they allowed for the lines to get ported out after I specfically had asked that nothing be done or allowed on any of the accounts without first verifying it with the main number by sending a text. They not only didnt follow the instructions, they allowed the port to happen and admitted that they did do that but still needed me to make a police report and do like 10 additional steps before they could petition for it to be ported back because it was an unauthorized port.

Now my phone has been disconnected for almost a week and I cant even call to speak with absolutely anyone because when I call from my phone or enter my number from a different phone the only option i have is to first agree to a payment plan and make a minimum payment and hangups if i choose any other number automatically! This is unacceptable! I need answers and need my service reconnected and those charges and accounts removed!
