Wrongfully sent to collections

I ordered a phone and service from Verizon on 12/17/23. I paid 97.15. The item was shipped but I NEVER received the phone in the mail. I called Verizon and they assured me a refund would be issued and apologized saying it was "lost in transit." A couple months later I started getting text messages from a collection agency. I also never received a refund for the 97.15 I already paid. I called Verizon back again and was promised this would be taken care of that they were sorry for the error and they could see the phone was never delivered. They promised this would be resolved. I kept getting text messages from collections and then it was put on my credit report I had an outstanding balance. 
 
I need this to be taken off my credit report and I want my refund issued. I did not get the order I placed and paid for. I did not get service. How can I get this fixed. I called the collection company already
