autopayment refund request

Hello, I forgot to cancel my auto payment and went out of states  and not planning to return back until august. 

I didn't + won't be using verizon service and don't want to make a payment when I can't use it. how can i cancel recent payment and get a refund back ?

@amysylee, even if you aren't or can't use your Verizon number while you are away, so long as you have an account with them, your service plan is active and you have to pay the bill.  If you disconnect service completely, you of course won't have a Verizon bill anymore, but you'd also lose your phone number.

I don't know what, if any, contract or device deal you have with Verizon currently, but one suggestion is to downgrade your service plan to save money for these few months until you return.  However, if you have some kind of device deal (get a phone, free phone, something), those usually run for 36 months and you can't get out of it early without getting hit with some penalty fees somehow.
