  1. Logged ticket for noise / no dial-tone on April 23rd
  2. Tech closed ticket on April 25th w/ no trouble found
  3. Re-opened ticket on April 25th
  4. Called into Verizon support for escalation
  5. Asked for supervisor call twice (nobody called)
  6. Was told May 2nd was the day for repair
  7. Tech arrived and had to defer to splicing deparrtment
  8. Service restored at 4:00 PM

Morale of the story is work should have been done on the 25th without using NTF
