It seems like my Verizon FIOS voicemail will only keep messages for 30 days. Once a message hits that age, I have to listen to it and delete it before hearing my new messages (it appears there is no option to continue saving it).
Is this normal? Is there a setting that I can change to go beyond 30 days?
Perhaps 15 years ago this was a defendable policy but today it seems silly.
And it seriously diminishes the value of the service, not that I need another reason to get rid of my landline for.......my VERIZON wireless phone, which allows me to save messages for YEARS!
Can somebody help me?
thanks

I have my voicemail options set to notify me via email when a voice message is received. The email contains a .wav file of the actual message as an attachment. Obviously I can save the email as long as needed.
Have you considered this option?
