I currently have digital phone service with Comcast, and I'm considering an employment opportunity where I need an analog phone line. Would I be able to add an analog phone from Verizon along with my digital line from Comcast?
Yes, but the wiring path to the new line would have to be completely separate from the Comcast phone line. Otherwise, since Comcast's phone line comes from the modem, you can have a regular POTS line run from the outside of the house to your office.
