Call Forwarding (*72) Alert Change When Transitioned to Fiber

My Flat Rate service was moved to fiber due to Verizon cable retirement in area. My line was changed to a fiber feed with no service changes, via a transistion order. When Call Forwarding was activated on wire I would receive a 1 ring alert at home when the line was trasferred to remind me that Call Forwareding was active.  Since the move to fiber the alert has stopped but Call Forwarding still functions. Is this a change in operation or some missing programming in the CO Switch.  Thanks.
