Calls to Fios house phone rings on AT&T mobile phone

This is really strange. When calling my Fios home phone number from an outside line,  the incoming call rings on my AT&T mobile phone (a completley different number and area code). How can this possibly happen? It does not happen all the time. Just occasionally. As an engineer I can not even imagine how htis could happen between two completley differnt networks. Anybody seen this or have any ideas?

Just to make sure I'm clear on the situation at hand. Intermittently, when someone calls the Fios home telephone number, the call rings through on the mobile phone.

The two Fios call features that could cause calls to be sent to another telephone number are:

. Call Forwarding

. Simultaneous Ring

Are either of these features active on the home phone? 🤔

Another situation (albeit very remote) would involve porting telephone numbers. Was the home telephone number ported from another provider to Verizon? If so, was Call Forwarding active through the old provider to force calls over to the mobile telephone number during the transition? 🤔
