Can’t manage home phone

I cannot manage my home phone. It says “your number has not been set up for phone management “. When I log onto the app I see orange boxes below the options. I’ve tried talking to the chat people. And then I got transferred to customer service. After a very long time I was told I had to call Verizon. I did that and never got a call back though I requested one. I see this issue posted numerous times with no resolution. Please help.
