I am unable to receive incoming calls on my landline phone. What is the problem? How can I fix it?

Go to your network interface device and plug a known working phone in at the test port. If you have dial tone there and can make and receive calls the problem is in your house and you will be billed for Verizon to fix it unless you have an inside wire maintenace plan. If you can not make and receive calls there it is Verizon's trouble and you need to call them to come and repair the line.
