I used to have Comcast internet w Verizon landline.
I switched to Verizon internet. I also have my Verizon landline.
I am so frustrated at this point.
Ever since I've gotten the Verizon internet put in, the dial tone on my landline phone keeps going out.
Sometimes if I get an incoming call, and it makes the dial tone return.
Sometimes, like today, I cannot get incoming or make an outgoing call.
The service tech was here at the time I had a dial tone. The dial tone continued to work for awhile.
Today, no dial tone and no calls in or out.
My fear is that I will call for service again, and they will tell me the problem is in my home and charge me an arm and a leg.
O, well. Guess I need to call them Again.....if they charge me, I'll just go back to Comcast with all my services!
Sorry, a bit angry here at the moment.

Go to the Network Interface Device or Network Jack and plug into the test port if it works the problem is in the house. If it does not work then it is Verizon's problem and they have to fix it at no charge.
