Email notification of phone calls received and voice mail

For many years I have used the feature that sends me email notification when my landline phone receives a call or someone leaves a voice message.  I like this feature very much.

It stopped working on 1/22/2025 and I have not received any email notifications since that date.

I have confirmed that my account settings still show these features as "active".  I've tried disabling them and re-enabling them. I've tried rebooting the router.  I've tried changing the email notification address to confirm that it wasn't a problem with my email account. I've tried contacting Verizon customer support (after 2 hours of discussion and troubleshooting, no solution or explanation was provided--and the scripted responses gave me the impression that the agent might not have understood the issue).

Does anyone else use the email notification feature for phone calls received and voice messages received?  If so, did it stop working for you too?

I've never used that particular feature, so I don't have a way of knowing how well it works.

In the "Fios Digital Voice Users Gude" on pages 31->33, the steps for setting up special notifications. As a test, is it possible to switch from email notification to SMS Text notification to see if that option is working? 🤔
