My entire building's Verizon land lines were cut off when the strike started.
I reported it the morning of August 9th and was told it would be fixed by August 30th (3 weeks seemed a little extreme at the time but, given the strike, what was I to do?)
Today, I was told by a repair supervisor that the estimate has been pushed to September 10th. 8{
Does anyone know how large the problem of cut service in NYC really is?
Everyone who sits by me at work has a friend or family member with landline service that was cut when Verizon landline went on strike.

Sorry to hear about the delay in repairing service. I have sent you a private message to get more information so we can look into it.

My service has been out since mid August. The website won't even record a complaint properly or give an estimated fix time. Needles to say they are still very good at billing...for nothing.
