Land Line Slammed - My Verizon land line of 9 years was recently transferred to T-Mobil without my knowledge or consent. I am having trouble getting it returned.  T-Mobil says it was processed as a prepaid transaction and won't or can't identify party that has taken my line.  Verizon seems slow to respond or offer assistance.  Any suggestions on actions to take?

Contact your state's PUC.  You'll get much faster action out of Verizon when they have to respond to the state regulators.
