I live in a house which once had at least 3 nynex POTS lines, the NID and cables for which remain.
The external cables are strung over my yard and my neighbor’s, to a central pole between several houses.
These cables are now sagging *very* low, and I can reach all 3 from the ground. This is markedly different from the Comcast cable which goes to the same pole.
I expect it would be bad for the others who are connected through this pole, if we were to simply pull the wires down. Perhaps someone could come and look, and address the issue?
