I no longer have use of tone dial tone on my phones...only PULSE. This is fine for incoming calls but most outgoing calls now erquire you "push 1 to continue" or for some other reason. PULSE does not work for this type of call.
I cannot even call Verizon because I cannot push a button to indicate what department I need.
I tried online chat and whoever I was explaining my problem to, shut down my entire system. I had no phone, tv or internet for almost two hours. Once service was restored, I still only had PULSE dialing.
My phones are all over 8 years old. Two are cordless and one is wired. All have same problem.
What should I do next?

i would say if your phones are over 8 years old it's time to get new ones!!!!
