NO Phone Service Call to Correct??

We have no cell service where I live so we need to keep our landline for calls. It goes out several times a month on Verizon's end and we need to call them each time to report. Issue being we do not have phone service and no cell coverage. I cannot call at work for an hour to report this each time. Kicker the online assistant cannot help customer in PA. How are we suppose to get this resolved!!! Beyond frustrated with this. Something needs to be corrected whether Verizon regularly does phone checks to see issues or an online way to help PA. We cannot call if we do not have phone access!
