I woke up this morning to see a phone book wrapped in a plastic bag at the end of each driveway in my neighbor. Why are you still delivering phone books? Does anyone actually look at a paper phone book anymore? This seems like an incredibly wasteful practice. Mine will go directly in the recycling bin and the plastic bag that it was delivered in will go in the trash. I imagine the same goes for 99% of the rest of the books and plastic bags. This seems like an ridiculous and infuriating waste.

In most areas white pages are no longered delivered. Yellow pages, both Verizon and other independent versions, are money makers and they deliver them unless you specifically follow instructions to ask for them not to be delivered.
