Toll charge

Just a little venting here....we were charged for a call we cannot remember making and I'm petty sure we never did make. The call was to a person with a name we do not recognize at all.  True, it could have been a wrong number, but then would there not be another call to that same exchange on that same day?  Or I could have left a message at an incorrect  number and they never called back (why would they, right!).  Been wracking my brain thinking if that's possible. Either way, since I rarely question the phone company charges and do not try to deny calls I do make you would think they would be a bit understanding.  The representative at customer support was patient....but she has certain rules of constraint.  I guess I'm just disappointed, if I had better cell service here we'd be leaving Verizon.  Someday it will happen.
