If it works for you than its acceptable. If Saturday does not work then it's not acceptable and you should have the install done on a different day.

I don't have FIOS. The box is the same type that I had installed years
ago.
I do not consider photo shown as acceptable. You do not have the option
to place a lock on your box if you choose. Thanks for posting! Definitely
will not be forced into FIOS. Will do without.

What are you seeing in the photo that I don't. Just looks like a NIC box with a work phone connected.
Nic boxes have portions you are not suppose to touch. Belongs totally to the phone company and other portions you are allowed to touch, including a phone jack you can use to test if line is working.

TNS_2. My box was installed by a NJ Bell installer, no wires hanging out
and it does close. All of NJ Bell employees were true professionals...no
bullcrap from them.
