I had an old Fios Router (Fios Quantum Gateway)
and I recently got the New Tri-band 4x4 Router that is supposed to be faster. My house has two TrendNet (Model TEW-821DAO/A) units that operate as Access Points. The Access Points were working fine until I installed the New Tri-band 4x4 Router. My house has six levels so I need the Tri-band 4x4 Router for the first two floors and the two TrendNet units for the other 4 floors. I would appreciate any thoughts on what has happened? Thanks.

Off hand I would say you would have to do the setup over again.
you may try making the SSID the same as the last routers name, but I would say it is best to set the other routers up again in access point mode.
dont turn on any self organizing network (SON) and then test to see if it now functions.
in my opinion fios routers are junk. You can buy personal routers that have more coverage.

Did you ever figure this out? I’m having the same issue.
