Trees and vines are overtaking my phone lines and every time we get wind or rain I have problems with my DSL connection. It just shuts off. HOW do I get these phone lines cleared of trees etc. There are trees lying on the lines all along my street. It's totally overgrown.

Unfortunately trees and vines are the homeowner's responsibility. Not Verizon's. Have a Tree company trim your trees and then contact Verizon to see if the wire was damaged from the trees/vines.

The trees are not on my property. Nor are they on anyone's property. It's a wooded area across my street, where the lines are. You think I'd demand they clear lines on MY property?
