I keep getting the message that fios is not available in my area alhough it appears others have it locally. Is there any way to truly find out if I can get it considering DSL is so freaking slow and the buffering is ridiculous. My teenage boys are about to mutiny if I don't figure something out to resolve this issue soon. I have been on chat with tech support as recent as a few months ago and still no go. They did replace my router for Enhanced DSL and my download speeds are at 2.57 mbps on a good day. I'm in California, Maryland.
Unless others have it on your street, your area is probably not wired for FIOS.
