I have a Quantum router. Installed 3 WCB3000N extenders to help with range. Wifi is great throughout the house and back yard. My issue is with 3 chromecast sticks running throughout the house. I use the one out back a lot. In order to use the Chromecast I need to unplug it and reboot it then it will show on my device after it reboots. The other problem is when I leave the range of that extender and my phone picks up another extender, or the router, then I loose connection with that Chromecast. It continues to play but my device shows no Chromecasts to connect to.

I would say maybe you should read the manual again in case you left a step out.

You most likely suffering from “wifi stickiness”. What happens is a certain device will connect to an extender that further away instead of the closest one. Problem is thats not a verizon problem but a wifi problem. Since all the ssid are the same. Now the extenders auto change to whatever the router is so probably the only way around is would be getting a mesh network like netgear orbi or getting wireless access points and name them all different ssids. Like ap1 ap2 and so on. The problem though with them is youll need ethernet from router to each ap.
