The verizon FIOS network is not allowing traffic to my webhost located in Texas. This started around 11:00AM EST on 2013-10-07, about 12 hours ago.
From within Verizon's FIOS network, I see:
jjaroker@hilbert:~$ ping gator4002.hostgator.com PING gator4002.hostgator.com (192.185.4.13) 56(84) bytes of data. From G1-14-2-1.NYCMNY-LCR-21.verizon-gni.net (130.81.219.54) icmp_seq=3 Destination Net Unreachable
From outside Verizon's network, the ping recevies a reply. I contacted Verizon's tech support and they are aware of the issue, but do not have information about a fix.
How much longer will this outage last? Why can't Verizon re-route traffic?

I am having the same problem from Richmond, VA, i.e. cannot access my Hostgator servers through Verizon network. When will this get fixed --- has been going on since last night.
