I will be receiving a replacement G1100 today. I assume that I will have to release the DHCP lease on the old one. Can I restore the settings that I saved to a config file to the new G1100 to avoid renaming my many connections? Will this cause any problems? Thanks in advance.

Once the new one is connected just go to myfiosgateway.com and you can log and change the wifi credentials to what your old router was.

I think Verizon updated things so you don't have to but if it doesn't come up just plug in the old one and release. They can probably also do it over the phone if you have any issues.
