I just submitted (via phone) a ticket about the intermittent service that appears to be a routing problem within Verizon's network. All of our devices have intermittent internet problems - yes, one of those is used by the person who plays WoW, another cannot receive email from a large west coast company (for which ping and tracert time-out), another has intermittently extremely long wait times when trying to get to some websites. Recent multiple pings, tracerts and pathpings stop, or have multiple 'request time out's before continuing, at a Verizon address: 130.81.168.nnn where nnn has been 238 or 240.
Suggest you enter a ticket about intermittent connectivity - enough tickets may get their attention!
