Need help installing Asus AC87U over FiOS Gigabit

Good morning,

I'm trying to install my old personal router (ASUS AC87U) because it provides much better signals in my house, but I'm having some difficulty getting VoD and Guide to function properly.

I've connected ethernet from ONT into ASUS WAN and ethernet from ASUS LAN to FiOS Gateway WAN as directed from another thread. Subsequently, I modified the IP address for the FiOS Gateway to point to 192.168.2.1 so it wouldn't conflict with my router. Released DHCP and rebooted FiOS gateway + STB's but still failing to connect to the services.

Can anyone assist, please? Many thanks in advance!

I have seen on here people having issues using the G1100 as a MoCA adapter. Can you leave G1100 as the primary and reconfigure your ASUS in access point mode?

If you don't want to do that then get a MoCA adapter. I use WCB3000N from Actiontec.

Alternatively, even though my connection runs through Ethernet and not Coax -- is a MoCA adapter still required/necessary to achieve my aforementioned goal(s)?
