Hi, my Verizon Fios 2-year agreement has expired and my bill increased by a lot.
So I am trying to sign up for a new 2-year agreement, however a chat support agent explained to me that if I do sign a new agreement, then I will lose my DVR-for-life.
So how do sign up for a new agreement but still keep my DVR?
Thanks!

Others have posted that is not possible.
I believe the for life was only with your current plan.
Most likely, the new contract will require a change in plan therefore negating your DVR for life offer.

But why? I've had this DVR for ~10 years and have always been able to keep the DVR for life status whenever I would sign a new 2-year agreement. This is the first time they've refused to honor that.
