Speed Tests Good But Many Websites Won't Load

We have Fios gigabit service in eastern MA.  All our computers are hard wired cat 6 and the router is Verizon provided and relatively new (about 2 years old).   About 2 or so months ago, we started having all kinds of network glitches.   The Verizon speed test shows good speed, 980 or so and 870.    But many web sites won't load or take 10 or more times refreshing the browser to load.  I plugged directly into the router and similar issue.  E.g. Verizon's email mail.aol.com.   I checked and IPv6 was enabled last night on the router during a very long support call with Verizon but they still did not solve the core issues, glitchy internet connections.    Sometimes Amazon pages come up with errors that say "reload".    Anyone run into problems like this, glitchy internet?  I changed cables, reset the router,  plugged directly into the router, still same maddening issues.   Network worked fine for about 2 years, since we switched to Fios.  Support seems to not know whats going on.   Thanks.

Do the computers have Intel NICs? If so, there is a known issue with Intel's older NICs.

A few mouse clicks should resolve the issue once the make of the NICs has been determined. 🙂
