Be warned, System Logging is turned ON by default on the G1100 router...
Not sure what happens when the file exceeds memory capacity, nor am I sure what the impact on system memory and performance will be...

The log is stored in RAM. The router will purge old log entries as needed so memory shouldn't be an issue. For performance, unless log spam is occurring (Thousands of lines a second or underlying crashes), there should also be no noticable performance hit, as the G1100 uses hardware offload to handle Internet traffic and has a sufficient CO
PU.
