Verizon Router as Moca adapter

Just got my Fios service connected.  I am using my own router and Motorola Moca 2.5 adapter in the house.  Currently two are connected (one to the my own router via ethernet and the other connected in another room to a smart TV).  The technician left me the Verizon router (large white cube).  I am told the router has built in Moca support, so I am trying to use it as a third adapter in another room instead of buying another motorola.  I connected the coax to the back of it, and then ran an ethernet cable from one of the lan ports to my computer, but no internet connection.

Am I trying to use this incorrectly or is it some kind of configuration thing?

Is only your computer had no Internet Connection or every device on the network lost Internet Connection? If you just connect the CR1000A via coax without adjusting some settings, then you would have an IP conflict if your primary router is on 192.168.1.1.

When using the Verizon router, it would be as the primary device (connected to the ONT).
