Could be a few factors going on here. If you're in an MDU/Apartment and are using a VDSL2 modem such as a Westell 9100VM (Be careful not to confuse it with the 9100EM! Same look, different models), it may be possible that's your limiting factor as VDSL2 lines are not set past 50Mbps/20Mbps. Also, there's a chance that the new packages are just not known to some of the reps or for that matter the system is still having issues with the new plan becoming active. Then of course, there's the case where you're on BPON and they haven't rolled out the new packages completely.

If you could detail what equipment you have, such as router and perhaps even modem, or get the model of ONT you have in your home (That big Verizon box installed for FiOS) that would be great.

I personally am in Wylie, Texas and I know we are on BPON, but that doesn't change my frustration that I cannot get the 150 or 300 tiers.  I mean, I MOVED to Wylie, Texas on purpose for Fios and now I can't get even the speed tier I want (the 150/65 tier).  This is extremely frustrating.  If you have any ideas as to when my area will be converted to GPON, or how I personally can get converted to GPON, I would sincerely appreciate it.

Thanks!

Areas/splitters are upgraded to GPON when the BPON nodes become over-saturated. GPON may already be available on a splitter in your Fiber Distribution Hub. This might take a bit of fighting to get Verizon to supply it as seen back in the day when 150Mbps came out, but there is a possibility you can still get 150Mbps even though you're not qualifying for it yet. It's something Engineering might need to look at.

I vaguely heard this stuff before about trying to talk to Verizon and Engineering, but who do I actually contact?  The CSR's on the phone just say that the highest I can get is 75/35.  I have no idea who to contact to try to even get the ball rolling on this.

Thanks!
