First responder verification issues

I am looking for help to apply the first responder discount to Fios internet. I’m having the same exact issue as the person who posted before me about having verification issues. I am looking for any help at all. This is beyond frustrating.

I’ve pasted below what the poster before me wrote about issues with applying the discount. I’m having the exact same issue. “Same problem as many others. Looking to verify first responder discount. I am an existing Fios customer. When the verify ID.me page pops open, I login to my account (firefighter/first responder) and then when it returns to Verizon, I will get a quick "Thank you for your service. We are unable to verify your eligibility, but you can still order these services or learn more to check eligibility for a discount through the Verizon Connections program, which offers discounts to employees of companies enrolled in the program." And then I am redirected elsewhere.”
