We signed up for home internet back in January and have not yet received our $200 grubhub gift card. I have reached out to Verizon multiple times to ask about this and have gotten nowhere. One agent said he could see that the gift card was physically mailed to us and would arrive in 7-10 days-this was back in March, and we have not received anything. Another agent told us that Verizon does not mail physical gift cards and that we would receive it via email, which we have not. Another agent told us to check our email, to include spam and all other folders-still no gift card. Another agent provided us with a 1-888 number, which is simply the number for the Verizon gift card department, not the promotions department. I am tired of going in circles and getting nowhere and would just like my gift card. In addition to the horrible internet service that can't even support the 11 devices that we have connected-even though only a couple are being used at the same time, the fact that the technician hooked up our Fio extender to coax cable that is connected to a disconnected cable dish on the roof of our rental property, and the lack of support to solve this gift card issue, we are beyond disgusted with Verizon. I am inclined to elevate this as well as file a consumer fraud report to the FTC.
