I signed up for service in July and was offered two Home Depot gift cards as part of the agreement. After the 60 days minimum requirement, I redeemed the first of two HD gift cards through My Rewards. Attemping to redeem the 2nd gift card resulted in the error "The Requested URL was not found in this server". I've contacted support multiple times, each time getting bounced around between departments for over an hour telling me to clear my cache or try a different browser. I humor them to no end by doing what they suggest with no change in result only to be assured that the issue has been documented and someone will follow up with me to resolve my issue (no actual validation that this occurred aside from some agent promising me this is done). Time goes by, nothing.
Search google for "Verizon gift card URL not found" and you'll see that this has been happening for multiple years. It's clear that Verizon does this knowing that people will eventually give up so they don't have to pay out. Otherwise, this issue would have been resolved across the board and not keep happening to people.
