Static Routing not working/blocking - G3100

Hello All,

Question on Firmware : 3.1.1.18 , hardware 1104

I've tried to set up parental controls to block certain websites. That doesnt seem to be working, so i tried routing. I am not a Sysadmin or have Network Management credentials of any kind but I thought I could make this work.

Tried ADVANCED > NETWORK SETTINGS > ROUTING and:
Routing Entry = IPv4 ;
Destination = [the IP i'm trying to block] ;
Gateway = ( the IP value from system >>> system status >>> (router) "LAN IPv4 Address" ) ;
Netmask = ( the value from system >>> system status >>> (Broadband IPv4) "Subnet Mask" ) ;
Metric = 0 ;

i've done 20+ routing(s) for many IPs, yet i still get a Status = FAILED after the steps above.

When i run command prompt and ping any of the ~20 IPs, i dont get timed out like I would expect.

Static routing means to route to another gateway for a particular destination address and prefix.

What you are writing there is not right.

Blocking certain IPs for certain destination IPs is not possible on any of the VZ router.

Blocking certain IPs for all Internet connections or by URL is possible.
