I recently switched to Verizon Fios after being marketed by 3 door-to-door sales people that said that they were doing a new promotion for teachers where they will receive six free months plus pay only $25 a month for four years. They told me that after installation I will need to call and the agent will then guide me to enroll in the discount. I called an agent and I reiterated the deal just to make sure that this was legit and she said yes it was. She said I should hear from someone in 3 to 5 business days and then the price will be reflected on our bill. This never happened! I reach out to Verizon, and the agent insisted that this was not a promotion that he was aware of. He reached out to supervisors who echoed the same thing. So far I’ve heard from 4 different representatives that this is indeed a deal , and other representatives who have no idea what I was talking about, so they couldn’t assist me. Is this in fact a promotion or was this simply a miscommunication? Appreciate any information on the matter as I would like to take advantage of this offer if it’s real. Thank you!

The closest deal I could find is the wireless deal, but not Fios. Are you sure they were talking about Fios and not Wireless?
