Just activated Verizon Forward, but the 6 months free promo is not honored. I was told the "free" depends on the discount amount, it may or may not bring it down to $0 so not necessarily free. I got on online chat and call, but Verizon denies this promo.
The terms do not mention anything about the discount amount, just eligibility and new customer, both of which I qualify. I signed up before 12/31 and activated this week.
