$200 Target Gift Card not honored

I ordered the FIOS through customer service over the phone on April 10. At the time, the agent offered me $200 Target Gift card, I specifically asked for it in writing, but she assured me that she is on the recorded line and that I do not have to worry about it and the gift card will be sent out a few weeks after the installation. Fast forward to June and I still have not received the Target Gift card, I then called customer service and they rudely told me that there is no gift card in the original contract and I have to check my contract when signing and they cannot do anything. I asked them to investigate and look back at the recorded phone call but they said they cannot do that. This is extremely terrible way to cheat customer like this and I can't believe they can just back out on their offer just like that without any consequences. I have been a long time Verizon customer, but this just shows me that I cannot trust this company anymore.

They stalling for more than 30 days on my gift card and my verizon bill is close to $300 a month. They still reviewing it so will let you know if I get this gift card or not.
