2Gb Fios internet NO IPV6

I upgraded from Fios 1Gb to Fios 2Gb, same CR1000a router, but no IPV6 connection. It is enabled in the router as it worked previously on 1Gb tier and ONT, since the new ONT was installed I get no IPV6 from the Verizon dhcp. Can’t access IPV6 only websites, or any IPV6 addresses, unless I connect using a VPN. Will this be enabled for the 2Gb tier anytime soon?

I'm not directly aware of specific upgrade plans for enabling IPv6 on all Fios tiers; however, Verizon generally works to improve network features like IPv6 support across their upgrades. For immediate action, ensure your router settings are correctly configured for IPv4 and IPv6 (if applicable), as well as checking if there's an underlying issue with the new ONT installation. In terms of VPN access, it is a reliable method to reach IPv6 websites since it creates its own connection that bypasses local network limitations. For detailed updates on Verizon's service upgrades, you might want to keep an eye on their official announcements or contact customer support for the most current information.
