Always get your promotions written on paper when dealing with a Verizon door salesman

Hey everyone,

I have to share this frustrating experience I had with a Verizon door salesman. So this guy sold me on their most expensive plan, sweet-talking about a free trial. He even said I could use the "mix and match" thing after the trial ended. The whole shebang sounded like a great deal, a too good to be true offer. I signed up without thinking to get the promotions laid out in writing.

Guess what? Before I even had the service for a week, I got hit with a massive bill instead of the promised free trial. I tried reaching out to Verizon's customer service, but all they did was keep redirecting me back to the lying salesman. And to top it off, the guy's dodging my calls and texts like crazy.

I get it, big companies arenโ€™t  saints, but seriously, a teensy bit of honesty shouldn't be too much to ask for. I never expected a ton of integrity from a multi-billion dollar corporation, but come on, training your employees not to flat-out lie and then ghost their customers shouldn't be that hard.

So, Nadeem, if you're reading this, congrats on your commission lying to  customers. Hope you're happy with yourself, man. You may not care about your conscience, but I assure you, what comes around goes around.

Just wanted to vent and warn you all to be careful dealing with door-to-door sales folks. Get everything in writing, or you might end up like me, sweet talked into  a fat bill.
