Playing videos in some apps on Android devices do not work or struggle to play. For example, videos in Fitbit and ESPN fantasy app do not play, but if you open these same videos in chrome they play just fine. The Marco Polo video messaging app does not work because it always says slow connection. Other apps like YouTube work fine.
The apps work fine if wifi is turned off, all apps and OS are up to date. Restarting devices or routers do not fix issue. Clearing app cache does not fix issue. Videos not working on apps occurs for multiple devices.

What kind of Internet connection do you have? Is this Fios? 5G? DSL?

Visit test-ipv6.com on your phone's browser while connected to the Wi-Fi, and see what you get back as a result. If you are getting more than a 0/10 but not a 9/10 or a 10/10 rather quickly, we might need to disable IPv6 in your router to see if the situation improves. IPv6 could be broken in your area, and it's something Verizon has been rolling out over the last couple of months.

Thanks, what if I get a 0/10 (that was more score)?
